Verranno introdotti gli elementi di fisica dei semiconduttori necessari a descrivere il funzionamento delle celle solari con particolare riferimento a quelle in Silicio. Si fornirà infine una panoramica sui nuovi concetti e materiali studiati per aumentare l'efficienza delle celle solari.

At the end of the course students should be able to prepare and characterize, and plan how to test the catalyst.
